Unless you got the 10 series, that's almost $16k difference in price.

Personally, when you go over $30k you are in a dangerous territory if you are thinking on buying a BRZ to mod. You have so many options: 370z, Camaro SS, Mustang GT, 3.8 R Genesis Coupe, hell you can even get a used 2008-2010 Porsche Cayman S with less than 30k miles for low $30ks.

Sometimes people forget, the main reason this car is appealing to us, is because it's low entry level price of mid 20s, so it can be modded as we go. The moment you go over 30k, you crossed a line where is no longer a good idea.
