Sorry to hear that bro. I don't understand why people can't be constructive instead of destructive. There should be zero tolerance on people who do this kind of thing. You get caught - paint thinner on your own car.
On the flip side, you should look into getting a full wrap for your car now, or consider plastidipping it! You can pick your color, and if you foresee this kind of thing happening again, at least you will have a
little protection against it.
Also, good call on the dashcam. Find them, and kill them.
