I live in Surfside so feel free to look me up the next time you come down. My wife takes her Outback to the dealership in Charleston since Hadwin-White hit strike 3 with her after screwing up her first service. My amp for the door speakers just went bad, so if the service is bad this time, I'll be going there as well.
With the mirror, I stopped by the day the mirror fell off, before the service department closed to be turned away by the service manager, so I found the general manager who got the parts manager to take a look. When they figured it was stripped, they told me they would find the parts ASAP. I didn't hear from them and did my own research on here. I decided to finally call them with the necessary part numbers a week later, then still didn't hear back from them. There was enough time for me to lose patience, locate, order, receive and install the parts and to this day I STILL haven't heard back from them.
To me, this is horrible service showing a total disregard for the customer. My previous car was a Civic Si and I had some of the best service, I've ever had from a local dealer, and a problem like this, especially involving essential safety equipment like this, would've been handled with the highest priority, and I have never had to call them to follow up on a warranty issue after bringing the car by, they would call with constant updates until the issue was resolved.
