Hello all,

A few weeks ago I went to a meeting with a Toyota Rep, Toyota Engineer, and the NCDS Arbitrator. My case was stated as this: the sound wasn't evident on the test run, and for under the first 3k miles for me, and that I wanted it fixed. After that the engineer showed a large amount of data supporting the fact that it was indeed the AC compressor kicking on. There was a small video of it, charts showing when the sound was occurring and when the AC compressor was kicking on. (Those matched up, just to be clear). It was proven whole sale to us all that the AC compressor was the culprit here. We went on a test drive and the sound was very evident.

After all this the NCDS refuses to recognize my claim, and supports Toyota's position that the "problem", tweet sound from the engine, is indeed not a problem, and the car is working within factory specs. In short, Toyota isn't doing anything about it.
