Actually there are several people in the thread that talk about running the conical washer on the factory style setup. This is what I was referring to in my question. I wanted to get clarity that they were in fact using the conical on the factory style spring cap.
The reasoning behind it being that the welded on washer doesn't have enough range to deal with the high camber/caster.
