The BRZ is the one that comes standard. Scion it not going to do that. GPS Navigation in a car is not the same as on your phone. Functionally it works the same, but cost to build is not there. You have a loading disc tray (CD/DVD drive's) that drive manufacture up, software specific to the Navi system, more rotating parts...etc. The 7inch screen on your Navi cost more than your 4inch Android/Iphone does....so many more cost associated with it that you simply can't compare it to that of a cell phone.
The Pioneer Bespoke has telemetrics. The Navi does not run off a disc, but is flash based like an iphone. Sure you can't compare it to the cell phone because yea there is a lot more involved.

Scion wants people to use this new tech and they will probably make it standard across all the scion models in the near future. I only say this because of Scion's monospec philosophy. They will have to make it standard on the FR-S first for them to do it. Charging $2000 for will make it fail.

2. Pioneer Car Audio’s ‘BeSpoke’ Infotainment System Powered by Zypr

Scion buyers are the youngest in the entire automotive industry…and these young buyers demand the latest in in-car technology. Last year we made Bluetooth and HD Radio STANDARD in all of the Scion models…but with the insane speed of technology, techies are already hungry for more features…a desire to be connected.
We are happy to announce that the 2013 FR-S will not only be raising the bar in driving performance, but it will also take in-car technology to new heigh, as it will be the first car to feature Scion’s next generation connected infotainment audio system called BeSpoke, powered by Pioneer’s Zypr. The new BeSpoke system has some cool features that Scion owners are going to love:
  1. The ability to locate a friend on the map on your audio screen…send them a tweet to meet up for coffee via voice command, and then have a routing feature guide you to the café.
  2. Check your friend’s Facebook wall posts or recent tweets.
  3. Have access to hundreds of internet radio stations

Sounds like standard equipment to me. Actually nowhere does it say it has navigation. That is just assumed. Sounds more like a internet connected voice activated radio. Definitely different from what is in the BRZ. Oh wait...

Opps this is what is in the BRZ....its kind of the same thing.
