No different then changing the plugs. You disconnect the exhaust and motor mounts (there are some other things as well) and raise the engine up to get the spark plug holes above the frame rails. It really isn't that bad.

there is no need to do any of that. i gapped mine down without disconnecting anything except the metal shield thing on the right side of the engine bay, and the ecu box on the left side. just need to wobbly extensions and a relatively thin wrench.
