i just dont get the point of why they developed a new engine between toyota/subaru and arent helping the tuner scene (who this car is meant for) by bringing out the Greddy turbo or Cosworth stroker kits - surely thats what the logo's are there for on the side of the car?
why advertise cosworth parts on an frs if there isnt even any developed for it?

When you read it has 600hp did you really think they would develop the R&D to build the motor AND build an adequate F/I system with such a short time between now and FD season starting....That's a tall order for any company to adequately R&D and test before FD. It's rather common sense. And really...since when would a motor swap constitute no aftermarket parts being R&D'ed from other companies when/after the release of this car? The block in the car has Cosworth built components.
If anything I would have figured they would do the swap just to get Gushi in competition and continue to develop the FA setup in house in the meantime. Which is exactly what they are doing.

I think the Ej swap is going to happen on this car anyway. It's better at being a true FR-S than the BRZ GT300 is at being a BRZ. That's not even close to being a BRZ.
