i just dont get the point of why they developed a new engine between toyota/subaru and arent helping the tuner scene (who this car is meant for) by bringing out the Greddy turbo or Cosworth stroker kits - surely thats what the logo's are there for on the side of the car?
why advertise cosworth parts on an frs if there isnt even any developed for it?

i see your point, Unfortunatly third party R&D doesn't happen overnight and shops have only recently got their orders of pre-production FRS to play with. Thats the extent of the manufacturers roles in this case for aftermarket support really..providing data or a car early rather than helping them do the work.
Reason for Cosworth ad is the fact that its a cosworth engine sitting in there. Ever seen mopar stickers on a Pro car Nissan? Those ads are for its sponsored parts..not an advertisement for consumer products. They can sometimes overlap but are not the same.
