A donut is fine with me. I don't want a can of goo and compressed air, mainly because cleaning that goo off of the inside of the wheel is a pain when you do replace the punctured tire, and if it isn't cleaned off, it can make balancing that tire a real PITA. They also tend to go out of balance faster if you do leave the goo in there.
