The way the Xpresskit Universal Proximity Key Bypass works is it temporarily powers a second key to be able to start the car, then stops powering while the car stays running. Removing the key then getting in with another key does not make the car shut off. Nothing changes except it will beep after the first key stops being powered to let you know the car is running but does not detect a key in range.

As for the Manual Transmission, @
projek_01 Was right And while all remote starts dont have "reservation mode" they all have a "Nuetral/Hand Brake Safety Switch" So in an automatic its wired to the Nuetral switch, in a manual its wired to the Hand brake and will not start unless the brake is applied. The onwer has to have a bit of intelligence as well, don';t leave it in gear if you want to remote start.
Even without remote start I have had a manual for 10 years and have never left it parked in gear, just no point.
