Does this chirping inhibit selling the vehicle as of now, by all means yes. Is it an embarrassment, of course.
Is there a possible fail of this fuel pump down the road? Like someone else said and 50-100k down the road the noise proves to a complete fail of the fuel system.
Then a few years down the line people are kicking themselves in the ass because they don't want to waist their time with arbitration.
It's largely about being royally upset that I have almost payed this entire vehicle off, yet because of both, idle dip, and the high fuel pressure pump chirp, and the complete fail from toyota to have it fixed warrants my personal arbitration. Will anything positive come from this I hope so, as I hope for everyone else.
