That's funny.
I also find it funny that Subaru recommends the SAME procedure "drive carefully for 1k miles", when you change your brake pads.
So if I only drive 500 miles and didn't break in my pads properly, I'm somehow denied warranty.
Let's keep spreading the fear. I'll keep driving my car perfectly fine.
