What will happen down the road is one of two things:
- I keep the car past extended warranty (100k), mod it and make it into a track car
- I sell it before the extended warranty expires (~3 years), don't worry about it
Either way, the buyer (or myself) will get actual useful info on the engine via compression/leakdown testing, as well as dyno and oil analysis info. All this is backed up by receipts and mileage tracking (Fuelly).
At the end of the day, I'm not worried about this and I know my rights when it comes to warranty.

Hopefully you varied the speed, did not exceed 4,000 rpm except for brief periods and did not use full throttle except in an emergency.
Otherwise you have no wear rings in each bore that may break your rings and yes, Subaru can then prove you wrecked your engine and deny warranty.
