Sure you can build a kit "capable" of 800whp for the cost of an off the shelf kit "minus tuning", but take it from me if you want 800whp you better find a new platform. The ONLY reason I had the opportunity is because I have millions of dollars in equipment that allowed me to machine most of my own parts that are not and will not be available for this car for a long time. Not to mention the drivetrain is absolute shit on big power applications, even after recutting the oe gears, coating and cryo treatment the transmission still wouldn't hold at all. Maybe with a dogbox, but good luck getting one made and it will cost at least 5K.
