I'm definitely down to do Laguna in November, but as I mentioned above, not sure it's the best place to do a group of us with varying levels of experience. Especially if we have more than a few people with no experience, cause I know Laguna doesn't have a "Driving School" run group. But if we all agree on it, then I'm definitely down.

yes, for absolute beginners I would recommend they sign up to do a day at Thunderhill first. Then Laguna as a second or third day. There's plenty of time to do that before November so go sign up guys!
Oh one note about Laguna... they have stricter sound max 92db. So if you have aspirations of going to drive LS someday don't go too loud on your exhaust set up. You will be black flagged and/or have to drive slow on track neither of which is ideal.
I'm very tempted to do the SpeedVentures track day at Auto Club Speedway on Aug 10... same venue as 86FEST the following day. But I don't think that is a good course for beginners either - go do the Moto-P DDA same day instead.
