For example, you could put the cutout before the muffler on the Perin axle back and achieve the same results. Cutouts are illegal in most places anyway so I wouldn't worry about where the exhaust is being vented too much if that's a concern.

True that it's easier, but didn't at least one tuner company melt the bumper off their frs by removing the muffler without directing the exhaust out from under the car?
