I just wanted to report that after having my High Pressure Fuel Pump changed out (1-1/2 weeks ago) I have not had any chirping. However, as a just in case measure I have been adding "Lucas Oil" to my gas as a lubricating measure. I do not have "pure" gas in my area to test a gas only solution like some of you. If the chirping comes back regardless of the fact that I am using Lucas Oil I'll try adding 2 ounces of 2-cycle oil to my gas as reported in another thread to see if that will lubricate the washer that was reported to be the cause of our noisy problems.

Hopefully, Toyota/Scion/Subaru will pay attention to our reports and come up with a real "Mechanical" solution to our problems.
