A quick drive around the block will do the same thing - cheaper, chemical free and more fun. Dries the wheels, tires, brakes and other components as well without a lot of wiping.

Sodium Nitrite is a corrosion inhibitor so there may be some hidden advantages to the product but it's use is usually in a closed system like a cooling system. It's also used to cure meats, whatever that has to do with your rotors.
