Totally agree with you on this. I think you're playing with fire if you decide to get an aftermarket reflash, personally. Don't expect to get your engine covered under warranty if they find out your ECU has been reflashed by an aftermarket company. Some will get away with it, some won't. I think your odds are better if you keep the car stock, hoping Subaru does the right thing when the time comes.
