I agree. And what you are saying is that the South African TSB is pure B.S.
So how are the injectors burning up? Well, detonation under load due to the overall crappy factory tune. It stays in closed loop too long, has an unfilled ignition retard table, a hole in the torque band, and god knows what else to meet the crazy emission laws. A good tune can fix all that and still pass the sniffer.
So what do we do? Wait on the OEM to save our A$$? About 1 out of 100 people who buy these cars drive them hard. Of those most will ditch the car by 60k miles. There is little to no incentive for the OEM's to tackle this issue especially with the carbon emissions hurdle.
Forget about the warranty, tune it bolt on a header and just make the car enjoyable or drive like those other 99 people.
