I'd say my experience was similar in some ways. It's definitely good to have an extra hand and that really helps keep you motivated at times when you might feel frustrated enough to almost wanna just stop. I had a few of those moments where I was just getting tired and I couldn't think straight and just felt almost defeated but kept on pushing through it to get it done. I did it in the garage by just putting the car up on jack stands so a lift is definitely not needed. The install can be time consuming and it's extensive but there's not really any part of the install that is extremely difficult as long as you have the proper tools. After you finally get everything installed and running the feeling of accomplishment will be greater than just paying someone to do it but just be prepared to take a lot of time if needed. Many of us already running it have done it in our own garage and driveway and some others have done it alone with no help so it's definitely doable. Any questions during the install you can post it up here on the forums and at any given time I'm sure there's at least one person who's done it before that can help you out so don't hesitate to ask
