Cost and compromise is the name of the game...
On the affordable side that still very comfortable, I recommend the Hotchkis springs with Koni shocks, or even the Sportlines. The new ST suspension coilovers look like they may be perfect for her needs.
Pair either of these with camber/caster adding upper shock mounts and your will have a very comfortable car, great performance and no more cost than most entry level coils!
If you want a bit more adjustability, then I have 3 very happy customers with Ground Control kits. They are very nice.
I also like the FEAL kit (BIG review coming soon), but they are for someone who sounds more focused on track days than your GF.
