Sounds similar to urea injection issues that were happening with diesels...deposits and temp regulating. As stated, higher fuel flow will help keep temp down. Then we also can keep in mind for FI that the peak temps are higher but not necessarily as hot as long.

For now it's all speculation to limits, etc. Seems Denso is running higher DI duty cycle because they can't make an injector to take the temps.
