The miata also 1)weighs MUCH less, 2)and is 20 inches shorter. 3)Many miatas are also UNDERPOWERED, they don't need the rubber for a variety of reason. Another being cheaper tires for track use. This doesn't mean they are the best handling.

Because one small car uses 15 they are the best for anything? Yeah thats why NO PERFORMANCE CARS COME WITH 15 inch Rims. LOLOL. Miata guys total authority.
youre wrong about a bunch of those points just so you know. the fastest miatas ive ever seen have ALL been running 15s not just slow spec miatas. these are the miatas that set all time miata track records. for miatas, they handle the best. thats been proven. the new miatas dont have 15s because they are based of the rx8 and there are clearance issues but that doesnt mean that its faster. i dont know why you think a 15" rim means less rubber. if anything it would be more rubber.

as far as this car is concerned nobody knows what is going to be fastest let alone clear but that was never the conversation. saying that no sports cars come with 15s means they arent fast is like saying that no sports car comes with a 4cyl boxer motor so the frs isnt a sports car. why do f1 cars run on 13s?
