Keep in mind that this part was not directly purchased from us. Therefore, we were not able to just simply issue a refund. I mentioned in one of the prior posts that @
ft86SpeedFactory did a great job of taking care of the customer and I thank them for that!
As soon as we were aware of the oil cooler issue, we sent emails to all of our customers to give them a heads up and have them check/keep an eye on the oil cooler. If anyone noticed anything, they were instructed to contact us and we would go from there.
The delay in exchanging the oil cooler came from the fact that Mocal is located in the UK and getting the new versions from them isn't quick. That, and getting the US importer the parts to test, all took more time than we would have liked.
I do understand the frustrations people may have, and I do apologize for that. We have done everything we can to expedite the replacement cores and make sure our customers were taken care of.
For those who have read the threads we are participating in regarding the coolers, sorry if this all sounds like a broken record. I understand it is hard to keep up with all the posts that are being made from us, and without reading the entire thread, it may come across as we blew this guy off. That is not the case at all. We take things like this (especially when it's a part we don't make and don't have complete control over) very seriously.
We are receiving 100% tested cores next week to send out to our customers, along with the new updated ones. We will get all our customers taken care and put this behind us and keep rockin' with these oil coolers!
