The rationale is "Well I'll show them. I paid for a new car and I want a new car". The second part I agree with. However, they can't shit out a fix right now. I told the guy to call me when there was a fix. I let him know after I got mine replaced that my time and I'm sure their time is important. No sense in wasting everyone's time until Toyota comes up with a fix.
Now that said if 6 months goes by or something crazy and I hear nothing I will be a little less patient. I understand its a new car and is going to have issues. Everyone that buys a brand new car in its first year should expect the same. Just ask all the Ford Escape owners that bought the 2013 model. I have one of those as well and I hear they have been recalled already for a to of stuff.
Patience is key. Acting like an immature child that wants a cooking won't cut it.

I know two people that have been over 6 times.. And bitch about the missing of work and stuff.. I laugh at them.. I totally get the whole wanting a cricket free car.. I do... But even if I got the crickets now, I'd still wait till a pump that was updated came out, not fix it when I know that, ethanol, is the most likely problem and I can't get ethanol free fuel.. And they would be back.. Like I said I'm sooooo lucky, I don't have the problems but every once in awhile and it's barely noticeable when it is there.. But that might be because of the greddy evo3 and I just can't hear them??? Maybe??? Or they are not there or super quiet
