FYI, I can *definitely* hear the det on tip in with my headers. The louder exhaust has made it significantly more noticeable. Autocross actually made it det a TON, since you are on/off/on/off/on throttle the entire course, most of the time above 5800. I was cringing when in the passenger seat as an instructor was driving because of her really great accelerator pedal modulation was making it det pretty much constantly the entire course.
There was far, far less det on the car on the track, since it only det'd once per upshift, instead of 3 or 4 times a second x 60 seconds like it did in autocross.
