I was commenting on Junki's prediction of $15k...like you I agree it should be closer to $18k...but as I noted some non-Scion dealers may be willing to work a deal to see it gone. It has potential of costing a Mazda dealer for instance, multiple lost sales on hardtop Miata's, it's worth it to the dealer to take a slight loss on one sale.
It'll be a rarity to see a sale that low, not an impossibility and the average "low" should be closer to $18k on those with higher mileage.
It's all relative though, if people chose not to part with them at the 18-24 month window then the value of the used will stay high. Some will also depend on if any changes are acknowleged for the '15 model or if they discontinue/Scion goes out of biz.
