Although the idea of everyone asking for a custom version is not practical, here's what I have done:
- Attached my custom animation (Orange GT86 with 86 Logo fade-out & Toyota name) - bootanimation_orangeGT86.zip. Good for folks with an 86 and that don't mind orange
- Attached a 'generic' animation (Greyscale GT86, no logo, no manufacturer name) - bootanimation.zip. It should look like the image attached to this post. Hopefully close enough to a BRZ/FR-S that people won't notice.
These animations are generic Andoid 'bootanimation.zip' files. To install:
- Rename .zip file to bootanimation.zip (if it isn't already)
- Copy file to /data/local on the device
If that last bullet point doesn't make sense to you, then I would suggest downloading a Boot Animation manager from the Play store (I believe that 'Boot Animation * root' will do the job - if someone finds that it does/doesn't work, please report it to the thread so we can look for alternatives).
BONUS TIP: As the animations are standard Android fare, you can also install them on your cellphone/tablet etc!
