So here's what I've found. If I have the USB plugged in, yes. It pulls the album art from the phone. If it's connected via BT I don't know what's going on. On mainstream artists it shows the covers, but it doesn't pull from my phone. Example: I was listening to a Nirvana and it had the classic baby-in-water-cover on my iPhone, but on the head unit it was displaying a black cover with Nirvana on it.
Spotify is odd too. It's the same mainstream artist cover art appears. It doesn't pull the covers from Spotify either, at least not on BT. I'll have to confirm via USB.
I don't know where it's pulling the covers from, over the air somehow or is there just a large database of covers built into this thing? Quite odd.
