Still, this is a good thing. I will be installing RCE Yellows on a FR-S this weekend. They are a 22mm drop on stock struts. The car will not be autox. If something happens to the axles then Scion is going to have a tough time denying a warranty claim if they are OKing the same or greater drop with their springs.

Correct. It was a favor because being denied for being lowered makes suspension related stuff red flagged. Being cited for racing would get basically all future warranty issues denied.
I have Yellows myself. If I blow a strut I sure as hell am not gonna go in before swapping springs back to stock. No way I would expect that to be honored under warranty.

They list them as BRZ/FRS. Their "lite" kit only says BRZ though, but it is the same parts.
