It's honestly not that bad of an install. It's time consuming of course like any major upgrade such as fi, but the directions are pretty clear on the cd it came with it also had enlarged pictures to help you if you were to get confused. Mind you the kit is a centrifugal type blower so it will require routing such as an intercooler etc so the amount of time needed for install is very understandable.
If you want ,innovative is apparently EASIER but I chose vortech for a reason and won't state my reasons so I wont state pros and cons about another's product to keep things fair and my own bias within my own mind and mouth.
In terms of issues, I myself have not ran into any and it's almost been 2500 miles. I pretty much womp on the motor a little more than I should lol. No rubbing or weird noises and belt looks great.
