The car had been autox but they did not cite that as a reason for the denied warranty claim. I am not sure that they did the guy any kind of a favor by saying it was denied because it was lowered. There are going to be a lot more lowered FR-S/BRZ than there are going to be autoxed FR-S/BRZ.
Still, this is a good thing. I will be installing RCE Yellows on a FR-S this weekend. They are a 22mm drop on stock struts. The car will not be autox. If something happens to the axles then Scion is going to have a tough time denying a warranty claim if they are OKing the same or greater drop with their springs.
