I'm amazed that 83% have the crickets in the US when it seems unheard of in Oz where ethanol is rare and then it's only used in the lower grade that we can't use. Mine has 10,000km on the clock and idles quietly as do all the other here apparently because i've never seen any mention of it on the forums here.


This sounds like one of the best pieces of evidence in support of the "It's the ethanol, stupid." argument. My reading of the U.S. ethanol/no ethanol posts is that there is a lot of contradictory evidence. But if all Oz is posting that they have no crickets, and Oz is an almost ethanol-free environment, that tells me something.
