The bumper beams in USDM Imprezas are ~45lbs (fortified for 5mph tests)compared to ~7lbs with the JDM pieces. This is weight at the very ends of the car and with it off it will really improve what the car has to offer. If you don't want to thats your choice.
The tests in this market will require those to be heavier than their JDM counter parts, Im guessing at least 50lbs to be saved from that alone, and its not expensive.
Saving guesses:
Exhaust Ti-30lbs
Battery-20lbs stock wont be only 15lbs, just look at it.
Wheels-15lbs could be more but $$$$
Im betting over 100lbs could be lost with these upgrades.
But back on topic: With a proper boost job I wont need to sweat all the ~5-30lb savings.
