They are but nobody wants to pay 600+ dollars for an EcuTek tune that's great and all but it really be Toyota/Subaru's job to fix and/or prevent this, not the owner to go buy there own aftermarket tune and also void any future repairs on the ECU where they will just blame it on your other tune.

Oh, I agree 100% with you. A brand new "sports" car should not require an expensive aftermarket tune to fix something like this. My question was really geared more towards myself, who was planning on purchasing a tune in the next month or so anyway, so if this is infact a fix, then great, I'll buy it now.
