It won't, because:
- Chassis is nothing new.. production frame + stitch welding with a cage
- Suspension is nothing new.. any aftermarket suspension will be equal or better, assuming proper tuning
- Body kit cannot be street legal, due to zero provisions for headlights, safety equipment, etc
- Engine tune is... well, not really a tune. Bolt-on I/H/E parts
If this is indeed a teaser, Toyota may be doing a "GT86 Griffon spec car" build and selling it for a hefty price tag of $80k or above. This is meant for anyone looking to build an all-out track car and want the lightest car to start.
