I thoroughly enjoy the duality of sound from this catback (deep bass rumble at lower RPM and higher-pitched roar up top), but exhaust notes are like aesthetic modifications and I'm sure it isn't for everyone. The quad is VASTLY louder than the J2 dual setup on a friend's FR-S.

No before/after dyno videos unfortunately, but judging by benchmark runs, it certainly didn't lose anything. Buttdyno says it picked up marginally, and the revs certainly feel smoother.

My $0.02 review: You get what you pay for. For a third the price of most catback systems, I'm thoroughly impressed. The metal is very thin, and it is definitely 409 not 304 SS---you will get corrosion that can be removed with a scotchbrite pad but nothing horrific. Dip/coat the system before installation if you're concerned. The fitment isn't completely perfect but I had zero installation issues with good clearance everywhere (though it does sit on the shield by the rear bumper if you don't use longer hangers).
Well said. I agree with everything. I will add that it does quiet down a bit with time. But cold starts are still pretty obnoxious for the first 5 seconds. But overall the J2 is great!
