My only gripe is that it is rare to see an oem auto hold power reliably, even in cars that are regarded as high hp kings (supra). My friend's supra is supposedly limited to ~400-450hp due to the weakest link(auto tranny) while the manuals are throwing insane power. I dont know how much power a 6sp auto based on the ISF design will handle, but until proven reliable I am going to assume [manual + power] >> [auto + power]. Of course handling and proper driving are king, but I think both are pretty evenly matched in that category (assuming the auto in manual mode is legit).
The manuals are more fun when you get in the zone + more potential fun, while the autos are very convenient and allow for that paddle-shifting compromise that is better than regular autos. Decisions...
