i agree that the tranny in the GC isn't the best, can't deny that. on a brand new car with brand new syncros, the shifter should simply glide from 2nd to third, but it wouldn't.
there really hasn't been any official word on weight, and every time i see it somewhere it's higher than before. so we'll see!

The performance models are the ones that compare to the FR-S\BRZ, if and only if you are considering the GC VS the FRS\BRZ. A lot of people obviously are.
