Everything seems to be running smoothly with lower boost and 12.5 compression. I am not engine savy but I know enough to that with out e85 or 93 octane good 93 octane we are pretty much limited at the amount of boost we run.
My question is if one plans on getting the avo stage 2 turbo kit and has access to E 85 and 93 to 94 still I would assume the torque still isn't going to be what we like. But with that set up we are looking at plenty of power for most.
I guess my question is if I got a new set of forged pistons and rods
And lowered the compression to 8:5 or. 9:1 (that was I ran in my 93
Cobra 455 rwhp 458 rwtq with vortech waster colled kit 11psi).
Obviously I know in cubic inches aspect of things you can't compare the 2 but if if I where to get a set of lower compression internals so I could up the boost to get the torque where it should be could i still run the avo stage 2 kit.
Maybe avo turbo world could answer this
I still want a small turbo for spoiling time to be as quick as possible as I don't want a dyno queen but I think to say over 275-325 rwtq in this car on the street would be amazing with the horsepower obvsiouly in same range.
Or just say the heck with it not mess with taking engine apart run the e85 and stage 2 kit.
Just a thought on the best method on getting better torque out of the gate.
And comments, slaps in face, advice from someone who knows a lot more than me greatly appreciated
Thanks
Dan
