I tapped it to the "running" wire of the parking lights. I've had it for several months now, no issues with dimming lights or blinking when signal is switched on. And i think the DRL dimming issue only exist if you have LED switchbacks due to its low current draw. Which to me kind of defeat the purpose of these DRLs if u already have switchbacks.
