One reason that driving a Porsche appeals to me greatly is that they embrace owners taking their cars to the track and their are almost always involved in the PCA track events. It's a rarity for an automaker to stand behind a product when it's used as intended. It is sad that such a thing isn't more common.

If you read ANY porsche owners manual, it clearly states that they do not cover damage caused from tracking your car. They may promote the PCA etc, but they do not have a universal "we'll cover damage caused from tracking or modifying your car".
