Im fairly sure that the white screen isnt something that can be fixed. I temporarily (not sure how) got mine to come on and function for a few days, but then suddenly the white screen came back. Nothing at all troubleshooting-wise ever worked.
Id just warranty claim it and be done. I got my replacement unit and it works absolutely perfect now. Best part is, half the setup is done, so when i got my new unit, it was literally a plug and play

I bought the unit off of ebay several months ago. I don't even remember who I bought it from so I doubt that returning it is an option at this point. If it is trashed so be it but I was hoping it was just a software problem that could be worked out.
