Without the silencers, if you're just cruising down the freeway then it's fairly quiet. The moment you need to open up the throttle to increase speed is when the drone occurs. So if you do plenty of stop and go traffic then I recommend you use the silencers.
With the silencers, you will still notice the exhaust being louder compared to stock, to me it's loud to the point where you could hear it but wont wake up the neighbors and has zero drone.
As far as sound goes, I think it has a really deep non-raspy tone to it which is what I really like about the exhaust. I really think this exhaust is the best combo paired with a UEL header to give it a very loud deep rumble.
EDIT: It is quite heavy, only a couple lbs lighter than the stock exhaust.
