Nice job, well thought out and completed - when looking for tips I also liked the Vibrant weld-ons the best but didn't want to weld. Should have used some creativity myself and come up with your solution. But I didn't.
Ended up going with the Perrin tips which install just like yours but without the bushings. It was the easy (but WAY more expensive) route.
