Personally, I don't buy it. 260*f sounds extremely low to be a maximum safe temp, maybe they meant under 260 is "ideal".

Ya know, I only run 1-2 track events a year. I don't think its worth it to install an oil cooler (in my case). I'll just make sure the oil is freshly changed a week or so before hitting the track.
