If the owner is on here, he should do some reading to see if this applies to his situation, this was in 2011 so insurance companies may have changed your policy to cover this now, but even back then people taught it would for sure not be covered:

Cliffs: Porsche driver crashes his car at an HPDE, Insurance originally denied his claim, he fought it and won on this:
