They changed all the policies because that's WHY the customers were claiming such failure. So we hate them for doing what the customers wanted? I'm confused.
Here's how I saw it going down:
CEO: Hey we have this grand idea for a fully connected console with all these sweet features that we can take advantage of with this new hardware and network!
Employee: Well.... what if they don't have internet?
CEO: Our system is BASED around it! I'm sure people will understand!
*nerds explode after E3*
CEO: So... uh.... about that fully connected utopia idea.... scratch that. People want discs and don't wan't to be on the internet.
Employee: What about all the new stuff we already told them about?
CEO: Try to make it work, but most of the stuff will be scrapped. Hopefully that will make them happy, because they spent the last week telling us that's EXACTLY what they wanted.
